There is an excess of media on the internet. I would even consider it online pollution. An overabundance of content untouched. I believe in using this. I call it digital recycling.
​
In an exploration of my masculinity and its roots; how it was formed through an ebb and flow of father figures throughout my life, I reuse said digital litter to tell my story.

Humber Polytechnic 2nd year project. Tasked with building a set from scratch, from the walls and screws, to the paint and prop, our crew had to envision everything and make it with nothing; With this, I had to design and rig lights reminiscent of a nightclub washroom.
The DOP requested for all the lighting to be built into the set (I love him but never again), ergo I had to make a lighting plan that was fixed for all scenes. Even being able to accommodate a 360° pan shot.

In the end, the lighting turned out extremely low-key, neo-noir-esque, and moody (holy buzzwords).​

Forever grateful for the opportunities and connections made during this film. Met the coolest people I know (2023/2024) before they became even cooler (2025); Unfortunately, I felt I was unable to maximize my potential as I got into a freak accident on the way to one of the shoots.

Being around people of such caliber was a very grounding experience. Although being around very successful creators, it was one of the more guerrilla sets. It humanized success.

Went to the event on a whim, lost and confused in my life, waif and astray per se, and found the joys of this lifestyle of mine.

Being a part of the project, the event, it was the actualization of me being a piece in a puzzle. That I can contribute, and the world has so much to offer.

The use of tools in their most innocent form. This recap video is one of my earliest works, as well as one of my most technical.

Incorporating Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator, I designed multiple renditions of myself in an 8-bit caricature format and did motion graphics and quick-cut editing to make this video.
​
I say my most innocent because I used each of these programs for the fun of it, not for efficiency.
