I created Waifs n Strays due to my personal feelings of alienation. Although WAIFS N STRAYS means homeless, the irony and mission of the organization is to create a community of those who feel their creativity and craft belong here

at the end of the day, one’s art may not be anything special or great in terms of societal impact, but when we all die, maybe just maybe, we’ll die having published and been a part of WAIFS N STRAYS.

Ethan Theo Medina, long-time and still aspiring cinematographer, was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Studying physics and fashion before transitioning into the world of filmmaking, Ethan understands the science, theory, and nature of beautiful visuals.

Working with notable asian directors and creatives Reangsei Phos, Ethan Hwang, Ethan Eng, and Carlos Juico, Ethan has established deep roots within the asian filmmaking community through his wide range of camera skills, light direction, and above all else, sociability.

Currently, he furthers his studies into cinematography at Humber College, where he continues to stack his credits and work towards his end goal of developing Waifs N' Strays into a promising multi-media production house.
